Senator John Cornyn, a longtime Republican representative from Texas, posted several statements on his social media account on January 23, 2026. The posts addressed his legislative record and ongoing political debates.
In one post, Cornyn highlighted recognition for his voting record by stating, “It is an honor to receive an A+ rating once again from @sbaprolife for my pro-life voting record. The right to life must be protected, & I will continue to be a voice for the voiceless in the Senate.” (January 23, 2026).
Later that day, he commented on partisan disagreements and media coverage with the statement: “Facts are stubborn things. CC: Democrats & the fake news media.” (January 23, 2026).
Cornyn also shared a link to a New York Times article regarding congressional attendance and participation: “Defending His Absence in House, Hunt Celebrates Casting a Vote https://t.co/PUDWxOBEx9 via @NYTimes” (January 23, 2026).
