Senator John Cornyn has recently shared a series of statements on social media addressing both political and local interests. The Texas senator, known for his active engagement on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), discussed issues ranging from governmental investigations to the advancement of the space industry in Houston.
On June 5, 2025, Senator Cornyn disclosed that he had reached out to Pam Bondi, requesting an investigation by the Department of Justice into President Biden’s health cover-up. He stated, “Two weeks ago, I wrote to @AGPamBondi asking @TheJusticeDept to investigate Biden’s health coverup & ensure no laws were violated.” Additionally, he mentioned collaboration with President Biden in uncovering who was in control during his administration.
Continuing this line of inquiry, Cornyn announced plans for a hearing scheduled for June 18th alongside Senator Eric Schmitt within the Senate Judiciary Committee. He expressed intentions to “investigate this & get the facts on who was in charge during Biden’s presidency.” Criticizing past media and Democratic responses as concealment efforts, he emphasized that “The American people deserve” clarity on these matters.
In a separate tweet also posted on June 5th, Cornyn turned his attention to developments in Houston’s space sector. He shared his experience conversing with Texas Space Commission Chair Gwen Griffin and Executive Director Norman Garza about relocating significant NASA assets. He remarked on discussions concerning bringing the Space Shuttle Discovery back to Houston and moving NASA headquarters to Johnson Space Center. In his words: “Space City is booming & I am proud to have such a robust space industry in our state.”
