The Conservative Political Action Conference announced that Sen. Ted Cruz is a confirmed speaker for CPAC USA 2026, taking place March 25-28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
CPAC USA 2026 is hosted by the American Conservative Union, which has organized the conference annually since 1974, making it one of the largest and longest-running gatherings of conservative activists, elected officials, and policy leaders in the United States. This year’s lineup features senior Trump administration officials, members of Congress, and international leaders, among others, according to CPAC’s website.
The conference features speeches, panel discussions, and the CPAC straw poll, which has served as an informal barometer of conservative grassroots sentiment since 1976. CPAC’s annual congressional ratings scorecard measures elected officials’ adherence to constitutional conservative principles and has become an influential benchmark in Republican primary elections.
Ted Cruz is a U.S. Senator from Texas, serving since 2013, and holds a 96% CPAC Rating. He previously served as the Solicitor General of Texas. Cruz has focused on constitutional law, Second Amendment rights, and conservative judicial appointments.
