Head coach Justin Emil commented on Rice’s performance: “I’m really proud of our fight this week. We got into the final group for the last round, and the guys handled the weight of that pressure. We just needed one of our guys to have a lights out performance to give us a chance to win. We definitely created some momentum this week in Cabo. Now it’s back to work to prepare for the All-American.”
Rice is scheduled to co-host its next event—the All-American Intercollegiate—on March 16-17 at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble.
