The baseball game between Rice and Memphis was suspended in the top of the eighth inning on April 18, with Memphis leading 7-5.

The suspension of the game affects both teams’ weekend series schedule. The decision was made to halt play before the conclusion of Game Two, impacting fans and players alike.

According to an announcement, Game Two will resume at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday. The final game of the series is scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the resumed contest.

Fans holding tickets for either Saturday or Sunday’s games will be able to use them for entry at Reckling Park on Sunday. The stadium will remain open between games, as it will not be cleared after Game Two concludes.

This adjustment allows fans flexibility in attending both games while ensuring that all ticket holders have access despite changes in scheduling.
