Wesley Hunt, a representative for Texas’s 38th District since 2023, took to social media on March 21, 2025, addressing various issues ranging from public safety concerns to legislative discussions and international affairs. His series of tweets provide insights into his current political stance and activities.

In one tweet posted on March 21 at 13:30 UTC, Hunt raised alarms about attacks on Tesla owners. He stated, ” WARNING: Tesla owners are now being targeted by masked assailants. This is domestic terror—plain and simple. Just like the 2020 ‘Summer of Love,’ we’re at a tipping point. Lawlessness cannot be tolerated, especially under the shield of a politicized media.” The congressman highlighted what he perceives as an increasing trend of lawlessness akin to previous civil unrest.

Later that day, at 15:15 UTC, Hunt shared his participation in an event with local business leaders. He tweeted about discussing key economic legislation during his speech at the Latin Entrepreneurs of Houston Chamber meeting. According to him, “Congressman Hunt spoke at the Latin Entrepreneurs of Houston Chamber, where small business owners from TX-38 discussed key legislation on extending President Trump’s tax credits, SBA lending, and improving employee health.” He expressed gratitude towards the small businesses in his district.

At 15:48 UTC on the same day, Hunt commented on an international development involving an American citizen’s release from captivity by the Taliban. He tweeted, ” BREAKING: American George Glezmann freed by the Taliban after 2+ years in captivity—thanks to President Trump.” He praised former President Trump’s efforts in securing Glezmann’s freedom and reaffirmed confidence in Trump’s leadership capabilities.
