Wesley Hunt, serving as a representative for Texas’s 38th District since 2023, recently shared his views on several contentious issues via social media. The posts addressed incidents and policies affecting various regions in the United States.

On May 6, 2025, Hunt expressed concern about activities at the University of Washington. He described “Pro-Hamas mobs have erupted on the University of Washington campus, openly chanting ‘Long live the Intifada.'” He called for the university to take action against such behavior, contrasting it with Harvard and Columbia universities, which he claims have “tolerated and enabled this disgraceful behavior.”

In another post on the same day, Hunt criticized policies in New York City. He stated that “Democrat Third-World-Policies have turned New York City into chaos.” He cited an incident involving Tren de Aragua gang members allegedly attacking NYPD officers in Times Square. Hunt emphasized that “This is lawlessness,” advocating for prosecution of those involved “to the fullest extent.”

Hunt also commented on a situation in Maine regarding gender identity politics. On May 6, he noted “BREAKING: Maine’s Governor accused of cashing in on the transgender agenda—while real women are pushed aside.” He called for judicial clarity on gender definitions stating, “It’s time for judges to rule once and for all: a man is a man, a woman is a woman.”

Wesley Hunt was born in Houston, Texas in 1981 and currently resides there.
