Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 2nd district since 2019, posted a series of tweets on July 22, 2025, addressing topics ranging from drug use to cartel-related immigration issues.
In his first tweet at 15:22 UTC, Crenshaw wrote: “How much cocaine did Hunter use before this interview? Poll https://t.co/sL5qivguok”.
Later that day at 17:39 UTC, he posted another message stating simply: “America: https://t.co/3IPJ8iNSlf https://t.co/Fm2iMIETrh”.
At 19:35 UTC, Crenshaw addressed the issue of cartels and their impact on illegal immigration in a third tweet: “As if we need more reasons to target the cartels, their destruction of their own home country drives illegal immigration (which other cartels then profit from through their human smuggling networks).
This is why I’m working closely with our administration and the Mexican https://t.co/y2mqyGdDjZ“.
Crenshaw has served as a member of Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984 and currently resides in Humble. Crenshaw graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006.
