Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 2nd district since 2019, has shared several statements on social media regarding international and domestic issues. Crenshaw, who was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984 and currently resides in Humble, Texas, has been active in Congress following his graduation from Tufts University with a BA in 2006.
On July 8, 2025, Crenshaw posted a tweet without any accompanying text or context provided.
Later that day, at 22:11 UTC, he tweeted another message asking rhetorically about the regulation of liquids: “Can we do liquids next https://t.co/SyvWlf3Isc”.
On July 9, 2025, Crenshaw commented on Iranian President Pezeshkian’s claims regarding nuclear weapons development. He expressed skepticism about Pezeshkian’s assertion that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu “invented the idea” of Iran pursuing nuclear arms. Crenshaw referenced the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) June 2025 report stating that Iran had denied inspectors access since 2021 and was accumulating enriched uranium. The agency reported it had “lost continuity of knowledge” over Iran’s activities.
