He has won several consecutive elections by significant margins—most recently defeating Peter Filler in the 2024 general election with approximately 65.7% of the vote.
Dan Crenshaw is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’ 2nd district. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Ted Poe in 2019.
In previous races, he defeated Robin Fulford in 2022 (65.9%), Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 (55.6%), and Todd Litton in 2018 (52.8%).
