Rep. Dan Crenshaw, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 2nd district since 2019, posted a series of tweets between February 2 and February 4, 2026, addressing recent political controversies and legislative developments.On February 2, Crenshaw commented on a protest at his town hall event:

“Leftist protestors crashed my town hall over the weekend, outraged that I support President Trump’s removal of Nicolás Maduro. They told me, ‘It’s not black and white.’ Actually, it is. . The following day, he addressed a legal development related to youth medical procedures:

“This lawsuit is a massive win for every young person who was lied to and mutilated in the name of leftist ideology. I have met these victims and heard their pain. I haven’t just talked about fighting for our kids, I got legislation passed out of the House in December that stops”

.Crenshaw has held his seat in Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019. He has won several consecutive elections by significant margins—most recently defeating Peter Filler in the 2024 general election with approximately 65.7% of the vote.

Dan Crenshaw is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’ 2nd district. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Ted Poe in 2019.

In previous races, he defeated Robin Fulford in 2022 (65.9%), Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 (55.6%), and Todd Litton in 2018 (52.8%).
