On Friday, May 30, former Lamar High School standout Reuben Bennevendo’s current collegiate team the Houston Christian Huskies lost 1-7 against the Texas Longhorns in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UFCU Disch-Falk Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas Longhorns in the tournament.

The Houston Christian Huskies’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 2:05 p.m. at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
