Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas’ 7th district since 2019, shared several updates on her official Twitter account. Fletcher, who succeeded John Culberson in office, frequently engages with her constituents through various platforms and events.
On June 7, 2025, Fletcher encouraged her followers to sign up for her newsletter, stating that it provides updates from Washington and information about town halls and constituent services events. She urged people to “Sign up today.”
The following day, June 8, she expressed gratitude towards those who participated in a collaborative effort with the Office of Commissioner Lesley Briones. In her tweet, she mentioned that Team #TX07 and I were glad to work with the commissioner’s office to assist residents with passport-related issues.
Later on June 8, Fletcher shared her experience visiting NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC). She highlighted the tour led by Irwin Stewart as exceptional and discussed NASA’s contributions to innovation and history. Her visit left her inspired and determined to support NASA’s ongoing projects. She tweeted that “It’s true what they say: a tour with Irwin Stewart at @NASA_Johnson is about as good as it gets!”
Fletcher was born in Houston in 1975 and currently resides there. She holds a BA from Kenyon College and a JD from the College of William and Mary.
