U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher, who serves Texas’s 7th congressional district, recently posted a series of messages on her social media account addressing local events, community engagement, and national observances.
On January 18, 2026, Fletcher expressed support for the Houston Texans ahead of their game against the New England Patriots, posting “It’s a Go Texan Day! Beat the Pats, @HoustonTexans! #HTownMade https://t.co/RtNavoQMa4”.
The following day, January 19, she commemorated Martin Luther King Jr. Day by stating “Today, we honor the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—celebrating the man, the movement, and the mission. This year, let us not only remember Dr. King, let’s follow his example, and the example of all in the movement who took action every day to fight for https://t.co/vwVyv8NTcz”.
On January 20, Fletcher highlighted constituent services available to residents of her district: “Have an issue with a federal agency and need to talk to a human about it? You’re welcome to call my office, or you can stop by one of our constituent services pop-ups to talk to a #TX07 constituent advocate! This week, find them at Gulfton Management District from 1-3 p.m. https://t.co/eKM3gt0xQy”.
Fletcher has represented Texas’s 7th district since defeating John Culberson in 2018 with 52.5% of the vote. She subsequently won re-election in 2020 against Wesley Hunt (50.8%), in 2022 against Johnny Teague (63.8%), and most recently in 2024 against Caroline Kane with over sixty percent of votes cast.
