Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 7th district since 2019, recently shared her views on various issues through social media posts. Born in Houston in 1975 and an alumna of Kenyon College and the College of William and Mary, Fletcher has been active in addressing legislative concerns impacting her constituents.
On June 16, 2025, Fletcher posted about a report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), stating that it “confirms that the Republican budget bill will cut taxes for billionaires at the expense of working families.” She provided a link to further details on this issue here.
Later that day, she commented on the Trump administration’s approach to health policy, criticizing actions such as firing members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and laying off staff at the Department of Health and Human Services. She described it as “a shoot first, ask questions later approach” in her post.
Additionally, Fletcher invited constituents to meet with her team at Liberty Fest hosted by Southwest Management District. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 29 at PlazAmericas. She encouraged people to stop by their booth with questions regarding federal agencies in another tweet.
Lizzie Pannill Fletcher continues to be an active voice for her district in Congress while engaging with constituents on key issues through public platforms.
