U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher, who has consistently secured re-election since 2018, addressed several issues in recent posts on her social media account. Her comments ranged from support for American workers and labor unions to congressional proceedings on health care and a call for transparency regarding the Epstein files.

On September 1, 2025, Fletcher posted a message recognizing American workers and the importance of labor unions: “American workers are the backbone of this country, whether they wield a hard hat, a ranger hat, a stethoscope, a hammer, or a pencil.

We honor them when we stand by labor unions who fight for the right to organize, safety, and fair wages for working people. Happy #LaborDay! https://t.co/y6M5M30Yj0

Two days later, on September 3, 2025, Fletcher reported from Capitol Hill about ongoing legislative work: “Congress is back in session this week, and today, I am at the @EnergyCommerce health subcommittee hearing. We are not, however, discussing the many dangerous happenings at HHS and the CDC in the last few weeks. Today’s hearing is on the role of AI in health care. You can follow”

On September 4, 2025, she publicly supported efforts to release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein: “I signed on. Release the Epstein files. https://t.co/ixXGWxziiG”

Fletcher represents Texas’s 7th congressional district and has maintained her seat through multiple election cycles. In 2024 she won against Caroline Kane with over sixty percent of the vote; previous victories include defeating Johnny Teague in 2022 (63.8% to 36.2%), Wesley Hunt in 2020 (50.8% to 47.4%), and John Culberson in 2018 (52.5% to 47.5%).
