U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher, who serves Texas’ 7th district, recently used her social media platform to address constituents on a range of topics, including an art competition deadline, local sports, and legislative activity in Congress.

On March 24, 2026, Fletcher posted a reminder for young artists about an upcoming opportunity: “High school artists: one week until #TX07 Congressional Art Competition submissions are due! All the details are at: https://t.co/QVnDm0cR7h https://t.co/0JT8M4lMJN”.

Two days later, on March 26, she expressed support for Houston’s Major League Baseball team as they began their season: “Cheering on the @Astros as they #ChaseTheFight in their season opener today. Happy baseball season, y’all! https://t.co/2kW9p2LHyv”.

Later that same day, Fletcher commented on recent legislative actions regarding federal employee pay: “Today, House Republicans brought a resolution of support for the Department of Homeland Security rather than a bill with a realistic path to becoming law to pay the public servants at DHS who are not being paid. House Democrats have given them a bill to pay TSA, Coast Guard, and”.

Lizzie Pannill Fletcher has represented Texas’s 7th District in Congress since 2019 after replacing John Culberson. She has secured reelection in several cycles: defeating Caroline Kane in 2024 with 61.3% of the vote; Johnny Teague in 2022 with 63.8%; Wesley Hunt in 2020 with 50.8%; and John Culberson in her initial victory in 2018 with 52.5%.
