Lacey Hull, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2021 representing the 138th district, has recently posted updates on legislative activities and disaster response efforts in Texas.
On July 29, 2025, Hull shared her participation in a press conference supporting a proposed constitutional amendment. She stated, “Yesterday I joined my colleagues at a press conference led by Rep. @CandyNobleHD89 and @SenatorBirdwell in support of Proposition 16, a constitutional amendment that will be on your ballot in November. Prop 16 will enshrine in the Texas Constitution that voters must be U.S.”
The following day, July 30, Hull discussed her recent meeting with Governor Greg Abbott regarding legislative priorities. She wrote, “I was grateful to meet with Governor @GregAbbott_TX last week to discuss the special session of the legislature, including disaster response and flood recovery. Tomorrow the House and Senate committees will meet together in Kerrville to hear from local leaders and affected”
On July 31, Hull provided an update about ongoing committee hearings related to disaster recovery: “Today the House and Senate committees on Disaster Recovery and Flooding are convening together in Kerrville to hear from the communities affected by the July 4th floods. Hull succeeded Dwayne Bohac as representative for Texas’s 138th House district after her election in 2021.
