Houston Softball announced on Apr. 17 that the Senior Day game against Arizona State will have a modified start time because of expected weather in the Houston area.

The change is important for fans planning to attend, as it affects scheduling and ticket validity for one of the season’s highlighted events. The second game of the series between Houston Cougars and Arizona State Sun Devils is now scheduled for noon on Saturday. Tickets originally issued for Saturday’s game will still be valid at the new time.

The updated schedule lists Game 2 at noon on Saturday, April 18, and Game 3 at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. Fans are encouraged to continue supporting Houston Softball through initiatives like LinkingCoogs, which is described as UH’s own NIL collective, and by joining the Diamond Club to provide financial support beyond the team’s operating budget.

For safety and efficiency, Houston Athletics continues its clear bag policy across all facilities including Cougar Softball Stadium. Permitted items include clear plastic bags no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, one-gallon clear freezer bags such as Ziploc, or small clutch purses no bigger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Medically necessary items may be allowed after inspection; however, backpacks and diaper bags are not permitted.
