Houston Softball announced on April 14 that the final game of its Big 12 weekend series against Arizona State will now start at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, instead of the originally scheduled time. The change was made to accommodate travel needs for the teams. Fans who purchased tickets for Sunday’s game can use their original tickets for entry at the new time.

The updated schedule lists Game 1 on Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m., Game 2 on Saturday, April 18 at 3 p.m., and Game 3 on Sunday, April 19 at the newly adjusted time of 12:05 p.m.

In addition to the schedule update, Houston Athletics reminded fans about its clear bag policy aimed at providing a safer environment and speeding up entry into all competition sites. Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed specific size limits. Small clutch purses are allowed but remain subject to search, while exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after inspection by arena personnel.

Fans are encouraged to stay connected with Houston Softball through social media channels including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram for updates and news about the team.

The adjustment in game timing is part of ongoing efforts by Houston Athletics to accommodate logistical needs while maintaining safety protocols during events.
