Former Stratford High School star Ranes Denman’s current team, the Guilford Quakers, dropped their NCAA Division III baseball game 10-9 to the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins on Saturday, March 7, at noon.

The game was held at Kenneth R. Perry Field and marked the first time these teams played each other this season.

Denman gave up three earned runs across 0.2 innings pitched, tallying one walk.

The Quakers are set to face Virginia Wesleyan again at Kenneth R. Perry Field at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.
