Garrett competes as Trinity falls to Tufts in Division III baseball

On Sunday, March 15, at 2 p.m., Walter Garrett, a former standout from The Emery/Weiner School, took the field with his current team, the Trinity Tigers, who were defeated 24-9 by the Tufts Jumbos in an NCAA Division III baseball game.

The matchup occurred at Trinity Baseball Field and marked the second meeting between the Tigers and Jumbos this season. In their prior contest on Saturday, March 14, the Tigers emerged with a 6-5 victory.

Garrett gave up two earned runs in one inning, walking two and striking out one batter.

The Tigers are next set to play the Tufts Jumbos on Monday, March 16, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Baseball Field.
