Former Spring High School standout Maddie Leal played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Spring High School standout Maddie Leal’s current collegiate team the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions won 8-7 against the LSU Lady Tigers in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tiger Park at 6 p.m. and was the second matchup against the LSU Lady Tigers in the tournament.

The Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at Tiger Park.
