Former Spring High School standout Maddie Leal played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Spring High School standout Maddie Leal’s current collegiate team the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions won 4-3 against the LSU Lady Tigers in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tiger Park at 5:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the LSU Lady Tigers in the tournament.

The Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 12:05 p.m. at Tiger Park.
