Representative Dan Crenshaw, a Republican congressman who has consistently won his Texas district in elections since 2018, recently addressed a range of political topics on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On November 17, 2025, Crenshaw invoked historical figures to discuss the roots and relevance of modern conservatism. He wrote, “President Reagan and Margaret Thatcher not only teamed up to beat the Soviet Union; they also represented a rebirth of modern conservatism that lives on today. In fact, it is more important than ever today, as we see leftists proudly proclaim the label of “socialist” and openly”.

Two days later, on November 18, 2025, Crenshaw announced his vote related to high-profile criminal investigations. He stated, “I just voted to release the Epstein files. The American people deserve transparency and more importantly the victims of that monster deserve accountability.”

On November 19, 2025, Crenshaw commented on partisan debates concerning science and identity issues. He posted: “213 Dems crying because we’re the party of science that believes in biology—not validating psychological disorders. Cry harder. I’m all for decorum. But my decorum is based in reality.”

Dan Crenshaw has represented his Texas district since defeating Todd Litton in the 2018 general election with approximately 52.8% of the vote over Litton’s 45.6%. In subsequent elections he continued this trend: prevailing against Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 with about 55.6%, Robin Fulford in 2022 with around 65.9%, and Peter Filler in 2024 with roughly 65.7%.
