Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 2nd district since 2019, posted several statements on his social media account in early February 2026, addressing violence by Mexican cartels and referencing viral online content.
On February 4, 2026, Crenshaw shared a post without additional comment: https://t.co/9w3tu8weuL.
Later that day, he wrote about cartel violence: “Mexican cartels are using drones to drop the dismembered body parts of their rivals as a terror tactic. These monsters can’t be reasoned with. They are terrorists and must be hunted down as such. Video credit: @elalarmamexico https://t.co/lPTZdxt8ky” (posted February 4, 2026).
On February 5, Crenshaw commented on another post with: “Who’s going to tell her? Someone’s going to tell her, right? https://t.co/2qQnhHPRrF”.
