In his initial post, Crenshaw stated: “In the case of Iran, just because we don’t have a tweet from the IRGC talking about striking on a certain day doesn’t mean we don’t have capability and intent. Crenshaw concluded with a rhetorical question regarding nuclear proliferation: “So what’s the better option? Allow them to become a larger threat and more hardened target? Wait until they get a nuke and become untouchable, free to wreak havoc without fear of retaliation, like North Korea? You want another North Korea?” (March 24, 2026).
Dan Crenshaw has held his seat in Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019. He has consistently secured reelection victories in recent years, including defeating Peter Filler in the 2024 general election with nearly two-thirds of the vote.
