Rep. Dan Crenshaw, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 2nd district since 2019, posted a series of statements on his social media account in early February 2026 addressing issues related to immigration, transgender rights, and law enforcement collaboration against cartels.

On February 6, 2026, Crenshaw commented on former Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s past remarks regarding voter fraud by undocumented immigrants: “Not AI, not a deep fake, just Chuck Schumer being concerned about fraud by illegal immigrants. Where’d that guy go?”

Later the same day, Crenshaw addressed legislative developments concerning transgender healthcare for minors: “The floodgates are open on standing up to the trans cult pushing its agenda onto kids. Public opinion is shifting. We are seeing critical steps taking place—from lawsuits to legislation. My bill banning federal funding for trans procedures on minors passed in the U.S. House,” he wrote.

On February 10, 2026, Crenshaw described his meeting with local law enforcement officials regarding cartel activity: “Caught up with @Pct4Constable Mark Herman this morning to talk about our work against the cartels. Crenshaw has maintained a visible presence in Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019 and has consistently won re-election by significant margins—including defeating Peter Filler in 2024 with nearly two-thirds of the vote and previous victories over Robin Fulford (2022), Sima Ladjevardian (2020), and Todd Litton (2018).
