Rep. Dan Crenshaw, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 2nd district since 2019, shared several statements on social media regarding policies and issues he is addressing. Crenshaw has been vocal about expanding access to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and tackling the fentanyl crisis.

On June 9, 2025, Rep. Dan Crenshaw highlighted his support for “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” which aims to expand access to Health Savings Accounts. He emphasized a particular policy within the bill that he has advocated for since joining Congress in 2019: “allowing HSA dollars to go towards” healthcare needs.

On June 10, 2025, Crenshaw expressed concern over the growing threat posed by drug cartels: “They’ve declared war on North America.” He warned of the consequences if immediate action is not taken, citing an increase in fentanyl-related deaths as a significant risk.

Later that day, Crenshaw addressed comments regarding National Guardsmen’s living conditions during deployments: “omg not once did I ever sleep on a floor on deployment.” He reassured that these service members are content with their role in maintaining law and order.

Dan Crenshaw was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984 and resides in Humble. A graduate of Tufts University with a BA earned in 2006, he succeeded Ted Poe as representative of Texas’s 2nd District.
