Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 2nd district since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets on his official account. The posts ranged from celebratory to personal reflections.
On June 14, 2025, Crenshaw posted a birthday message for former President Donald Trump, stating “Happy Birthday, President Trump! Suzy got to sing Happy Birthday to the President. Priceless!” The tweet included a link presumably related to the event.
Shortly after, at the same date and time, another tweet was shared by Crenshaw containing only a link: “https://t.co/u8YWnFvCRH”. No additional context or content was provided in this post.
The following day, June 15, 2025, Crenshaw expressed his condolences and prayers in another tweet for the family of Melissa and Mark Hortman. He stated “Tara and I are praying for the children and family of Melissa and Mark Hortman. I personally knew Melissa while she was at Harvard Kennedy School with me. Though we weren’t close, I knew her to be a pure public servant, doing the job for all the right reasons.”
Dan Crenshaw has been an active member of Congress since succeeding Ted Poe in 2019. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984, he is currently based in Humble and holds a BA from Tufts University.
